Event details

This event will be presented in French. A video recording with subtitles will be available in the weeks following the event.

Two patients share their experiences with telehealth. Two different types of remote care: teleconsultation and telemonitoring.

For this midi-causerie, we are welcoming a patient partner from Institut de cardiologie de Montréal (ICM) and a patient partner from Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Understand what teleconsultation and telemonitoring are;
  • Identify the benefits, challenges, and impacts of telehealth;
  • Recognize the conditions that contribute to a positive telehealth experience: preparation, communication, technological tools, etc.

Midi-causeries en télésanté

The CHUM Telehealth team, in collaboration with the Réseau québécois de la télésanté, invites you to participate in this series of free, interactive virtual sessions.

Each lunchtime discussion is an opportunity to:

  • learn more about a topic related to telehealth;
  • ask our experts your questions;
  • share your experiences or concerns in a supportive environment.
